I bought a guitar. I bought a guitar. If I practice, practice, practice I know I’ll go far. I’ll hold my pick in my hand; and in the other I select the strings my fingers will cover. When I play the guitar, I’m a Rock Star. (4x) Let me show you how it’s done when I strum. I can strum real fast, I can strum real slow. I can strum up high, I can strum real low. I can strum real soft, I can strum real loud. I’ll strum so good, I’ll make you proud. When I play the guitar, I’m a Rock Star. (4x)

Sunglasses 02:15
The sun is shining lets go to the beach. I’ll bring the toys you bring the food. Put on my suntan lotion, help me reach. There’s just one thing that’s left to do. So, I put my sunglasses on. Look so cool. So much fun. I put my sunglasses on and sing my sunglasses song. The waves are crashing the seagulls fly and I make castles in the sand. We see our friends there, we say hi. I shield the sun with my hand so… Isn’t it funny when it’s gets sunny? The only thing that you can do is change your focus and hocus pocus. You can see again so you… * Sitting in Central Park on a picnic blanket with my friends over the summer, I was missing the Miami Beach waves from my childhood. Parents/Teachers- Make sure to teach your kids to protect their eyes and use sunscreen at the beach. For hand motions, they can make their own sunglasses with their hands and “Put their sunglasses on.”

More Cowbell 01:57
I gotta have more cowbell! We have the drums, we have the bass, we have the keys and just took the guitar out of the case. Started jammin’ together it was going so well but then someone went and yelled, “MORE COWBELL!” Now Stop! We have the shakers, the tambourine; we have the triangle and everything in between. Started jammin’ together, it was going so well but then someone went and yelled, “MORE COWBELL!” Now it’s time for a breakdown…. We clap our hands, we stomp our feet, we snap our fingers and we keep a steady beat. Started jammin’ together it was going so well but then someone went and yelled, “MORE COWBELL!”

Give me a hug, give me a kiss when we say goodnight. Open your arms and let me in and hold me tight. Rock me till I close my eyes and then say to me “I love you, baby.” (2x) When we say goodnight. And hold me tight. Rock me till I close my eyes and then say to me “I love you, baby.” Give me a hug and squeeze real tight, and let us say goodnight.

I Wanna Be Green (free) 02:13
I wanna be green, I wanna be green. Not red or blue or something in between. I wanna be green. I wanna be green. Take care of the earth and keep it clean. All the fish live in the sea, all the birds fly in the sky. All the bugs live in the ground, all the people passing by. All the flowers of the earth, every animal and child from birth all rely on people being green. I wanna be G-r-e-e-n. G-r-e-e-n. (Chorus) So find your nearest garbage can, throw your trash right in as fast as you can. Recycle paper, cans and plastic. The more you help, the more fantastic. Flowers of the earth, every animal and child from birth all rely on people being green. I wanna be G-r-e-e-n. G-r-e-e-n. (Chorus) I don’t care if it’s olive, forest or lime, chartreuse, jade, emerald army or pine. I wanna be G-r-e-e-n. G-r-e-e-n. I wanna be G-r-e-e-n, G-r-e-e-n and that spells green.

Dad: Ugh, your bedroom is a MESS! Kid: I didn’t do it. It was the Elf. I swear I saw him taking toys right off the shelf. He took my pillows and he threw them on the floor, unmade my bed and when I said “no more”, He said “Listen, don’t get upset, I’m an elf and I get messy what exactly man did you expect?” Kid: Soooooo I’m not in trouble am I? Dad: “Hmmm, I guess not” Kid: “Whew”!!! Dad: Get in here…your bathroom is a zoo! Kid: I didn’t do it. It was the Elf. I swear I saw him take my toothpaste off the shelf. He took the cotton balls and threw them on the floor, didn’t flush the toilet and when I said “no more” He said “Listen, don’t get upset, I’m an elf I and I get messy what exactly man did you expect?” Kid: Soooooo It’s not really MY fault. Dad: “Hmmm, I guess not” Kid: “Whew”!!! Dad: Oh No! The kitchen! What did you do? Kid: I didn’t do it. It was the Elf. I swear I saw him take the pans right off the shelf. He took the popcorn & and threw it on the floor, got crumbs on the counter and when I said “Mo more” He said “listen, don’t get upset, I’m an elf and I get messy what exactly man did you expect?” Soooooo I’m in the clear, right? Dad: I’m beginning to think it wasn’t the elf. I’m beginning to think you’ve made the mess yourself. Kid: It was the dog! Dad: Uh Huh. Kid: It was my brother! Dad: I don’t think so. Kid: It was MOM! Dad: Yeah, right. Kid: I guess it’s time that I tell the truth, I know that it’s the right thing to do. Ok, I did it. I’m just a kid. But I’ll try real hard to clean up everything I did. I’ll put my toys away and wipe the counter clean and flush the toilet, and make my bedroom gleam. And then next time, when there’s a mess. I won’t blame it on anyone. It’s not the elf I guess. And I’ll try my best to never make a mess.

I Like Jazz 02:39
When I was just a little kid, I loved my Ella, Billy & Miles. I did. With my jazz records on, I started singing loud and strong. ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ I like Jazz. Yeah! I like Jazz. Yeah! I went to school to learn to read, I was getting faster, up to speed. Teacher said. “Could you read this song?” I stood right up, and before long I sang: Twinkle, twinkle little star. How I wonder what you are. Up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky. I like Jazz. Yeah! I like Jazz. Yeah! I was in the car with my dad and mom. We were singing songs to past the time along. Just as dad finished his tune, I busted out with my rendition of Bah bah black sheep have you any wool? Yes sir, yes sir 3 bags full. One for the master, and one for the dame. One for the little boy who lived down the lane. I like Jazz. Yeah!

Joanie Says 02:46
You may have played this game before but it has had an upgrade. So every girl, and every boy, let’s try a brand new way. Simon’s on vacation now I’m in charge so do exactly what I say. But only when I say: “Joanie says”. Joanie says: Put your hands on your head. Joanie says: lift up one leg. Joanie says: Put your hand on your nose. Joanie says: Reach down and touch your toes. Now clap your hands! Oh no, I didn’t say “Joanie Says”. Joanie says spin around and around. Joanie says stomp your feet on the ground. Joanie says reach up high to the trees. Joanie says pat your knees. Now make a silly face! Oh no, I didn’t say “Joanie Says”. Joanie says a jump a jump a jump a jump. Joanie says a march a march a march a march. Joanie says a twist a twist a twist a twist- NOW STOP! Ah ah, I didn’t say Joanie says. Joanie says scratch your back with one hand. Joanie says stand as tall as you can. Joanie says smile with you lips. Joanie says shake a shake your hips. Now sit on the ground! Oh NO, I didn’t say “Joanie Says”.

Popcorn 01:35
I put the kernels in the pan and add some butter. Sprinkle on salt and put on the cover. When I make popcorn, I start to hop. Cause when the kernels start popping, I can’t make them stop. They go Pop, Pop, Pop… ‘Cause when the kernels start popping I can’t make them stop. Open the microwave oven and put in the bag. Slam the door shut and let that timer tick, tick man. They go Pop, Pop, Pop… ‘Cause when the kernels start popping I can’t make them stop.

Sometimes I’m happy, sometimes I’m sad. Sometimes I’m an angel, sometimes I’m bad. Sometimes I stumble, sometimes I fall. Sometimes I’m jumpy, sometimes not at all. So put a little smile on your face. It’ll make you happy just as soon as you erase that frown. Put a little smile on your face. It will turn your world around when you turn that frown- upside down. Sometimes I’m cranky, sometimes I’m glad. Sometimes I’m tired, sometimes I’m mad. Sometimes I’m silly, sometimes I’m mean. Sometimes I’m antsy, sometimes in between. I know that every day won’t be smiles and giggles. Sometimes the tears will fall like rain. But if you’re feeling blue, or somewhere in the middle. Do me a favor and listen to what I say.
13.
Put your hand up in the air and wave. Oh how I’ll miss you. Put your hand up to your lips and blow a kiss. Oh how I’ll miss you. We had so much fun but now our time is done. It’s time to say goodbye. Goodbye, Goodbye, Goodbye, Goodbye, Goodbye (2X) I’ll see you later, in just a while. Goodbye, Goodbye. It’s not forever, so give a smile. Goodbye, Goodbye. I’ll be there with you, across the miles. Goodbye, Goodbye. Of course I’ll miss you, but do not cry. Goodbye, Goodbye. Until next time, I’ll say goodbye. Goodbye, Goodbye.
